Lawrence Lee & Mohajer fuse distinct artistic visions with dynamic synergy in their latest collaborative venture, Temporal Spell.Hailing from New York with Korean/Brazilian roots, Lawrence relocated to Berlin and quickly carved a space for himself in the scene, founding his intrepid A7A imprint and LUSH club night. Thriving in the tension of unbound genres, Lawrence forges an unapologetic sound that draws on themes of futurism, off-kilter melodies and tribal rhythms and ignites dance floors with his unflinching releases and DJ sets. Mohajer, meanwhile, is the galvanising force behind the prog-forward queer party mp3, conceived to rekindle a sense of intimacy in Berlin’s underground scene. Additionally a member of Copenhagen’s Fast Forward agency, the Iranian/Swedish DJ infuses her sets with an energetic blend of techno, tribal house, and trance, underpinned by an innate appreciation for percussion. Their collaboration is a powerful convergence of individual perspectives, and testament to a harmonious meeting of minds.
